Research at the IPA focuses on the full spectrum of German, European, and international civil procedure law. The main emphasis is on the transformation of traditional procedural conventions under the influence of the increasing convergence of divergent economic areas. Additionally, the institute's members are dedicated to examining the impact of digitalization on professional law for lawyers. Special attention is given to challenges posed by Legal Tech.
