75% of all law graduates will pursue a carreer as lawyers. The focus on “Legal Advice and Professional Attorney Regulation/Legal Ethics” enables anyone interested in a career as a lawyer and who wants to prepare specifically for legal practice to deal with the subject matter already within the specialisation studies.
Building on the basic knowledge of legal practice, contract drafting, and general procedural law required for any legal profession, the Institute for Procedural Law and Attorney Regulations (IPA) offers within the specialisation of studies No. 8 a sub-specialisation in either civil law, criminal law, or public law.
The specialisation of studies No. 8 is intended to convey critical legal thinking and the central role of the lawyer for access to justice and thus for enhancing the rule of law.
