The term “legal tech” covers a wide variety of developments. These range from simple IT-supported database research and blockchain-based “smart contracts” to automated or AI-supported legal advice. The aim is to support and automate legal work.
Due to the continuously growing practical relevance of this topic, the starting point for consideration is in the field of legal tech. Within legal tech, it is sensible to not only think about certain questions theoretically, but the limits and possibilities of technical innovation in the legal system must also be explored in practice.
The institute not only offers relevant courses in close cooperation with renowned experts of the “legal tech scene,” but also contributes to the development of the discourse with scientific work.
